The mission of KubeSentry was to facilitate monitoring and management of users' kubernetes & microservices through the use a of SPA.
Engineered a full-stack server side rendered SPA web app using Next.js, allowing users to monitor and interact with Kubernetes clusters, streamlining the management of clusters
Developed the Performance Analysis Engine with Node.js and Express, integrating with Prometheus to ingest Kubernetes cluster CPU utilization, RAM allocation, and DNS latency metrics for infrastructure observability and analysis
Deployed Kubernetes clusters with instrumented microservices allowing Prometheus to collect and store time-series database for visualization using React Charts and stylizing with Tailwind
Implemented Slack integration to Prometheus Alert Manager, allowing SRE teams to configure custom settings to identify performance and health metric bottlenecks and infrastructure failures in a timely manner
Authored containerized microservice application images for ease of deployment and scaling using Docker
